The soundboard is made of matched halves of very close- and straight-grained spruce with unusual grain spacing of 48 per inch near the center and edges, to 20 per inch midway between. The rosette has a central design band of mosaic diamonds set in mosaic squares. The bridge is rosewood with the top of its tie-block framed with bone for protection from string wear. White plastic golpeadors cover the bass and treble strumming areas.

Back and sides are cypress with rosewood edging and double black purfling. Neck and head are made of mahogany and the face of the head is veneered with rosewood. The head is fitted with kingwood tuning pegs with mother-of-pearl dots inset into both ends. The ebony fretboard has high frets. Harmonic bars and crossbars have tapered ends.

This guitar is in as-new condition with its original French polish of shellac.
