The top is made from matched halves of straight-grained spruce with grain spacing of 24 per inch near the center to 16 per inch at the edges. The rosette has a central band of diamonds with bracket spacers. The bridge is rosewood with its tie-block topped with bone, and nested rectangles are inset into this bone top. A clear plastic golpeador covers the soundboard between the soundhole and bridge.

Back and sides are cypress with single purfling. Neck and head are cedar with the front of the head veneered with rosewood. Tuning pegs are ebony with mother-of-pearl dots set into the small ends. The fingerboard is ebony with large frets. Finish is French polish of shellac.

This guitar is in as-new condition and shows clean and precise workmanship in every regard.
