The soundboard is made of unmatched halves of straight- and even-grained spruce. Grain spacing is consistent at 24 per inch, and the soundboard is protected by a clear celluloid golpeador. The complex rosette features a wide mosaic band of floral bunches connected by an undulating vine in green on a natural-colored background. The rosewood bridge has its tie-block topped with a matching floral and vine pattern and is edged in bone.
Back and sides are made of quartersawn Indian rosewood with double purfling. Neck and head are made of cedar with the front of the head veneered with rosewood. A radiating sunburst pattern is carved into the face and back of the head. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with large frets. The maker’s luthier stamp appears on the foot of the heel-block and on the back of the head.
