The soundboard is made from two matched pieces of spruce of fair quality. The slightly wavy grain varies in spacing from 30 per inch at the center to 6 per inch at the edges of the lower bouts. The rosette has a central band of nested “V” shapes. The bridge is rosewood with its tie-block edged in bone. The soundboard has a white plastic golpeador on the treble side.

Back and sides are cypress. Neck and head are cedar and the head is faced with rosewood with a hole drilled for a hanging thong or decorative ribbon. Tuning pegs have mother-of-pearl dots set into their small ends. The fingerboard is ebony with medium frets.

This guitar is in good condition showing the common repairs expected for 90 years of playing. Some cracks have been repaired, new French polish added, and a new golpeador fitted.
